Block Tales Card Tier List

Some cards are better for support abilities, some inflict enemies with debuffs, and others buff your allies. It’s up to you to decide which role you want to take in battle, but here are the best cards in the game overall!

S Tier

The best cards to equip!

  • HP Drain
    • Regenerate your HP when attacking enemies
  • Good Vibes
    • Regenerates HP and SP for you and your allies by sleeping
  • SP Finder
    • Regenerate more SP per battle
  • HP Finder
    • Regenerate more HP per battle
  • Cure
  • Charge DEF
  • I Spy
    • A visual alert and a noise that lets you know when there’s a Bux close by
  • Resurrect
  • Linebounce
    • Attacks all nearby enemies with a ball
  • Snowball
  • Safe Guard
    • Reduces DMG taken when you guard
  • HP+
    • Increases your overall HP

A Tier

Strong cards for support, buffs, and combat.

  • Shrinking
    • Simple in nature, but as it allows you to shrink, you can get to those harder-to-reach areas
  • Ice Dagger
    • Regenerates HP and SP for you and your allies
    • Buffs Defense for 3 rounds
  • Item+
  • SP Drain
    • Regenerate SP while attacking enemies
  • Thorns
    • Counterattack DMG increases
  • SP Saver
  • Pity SP
    • You have a chance of obtaining SP when taking DMG
  • Power Stab
    • Strong sword attack that uses more of your Strength stat
  • Fireball
    • Inflicts the enemy with Burn
  • Daze
    • Inflicts the enemy with Dizzy
  • Happy HP
    • Regenerates 1 HP per round

B Tier

These cards aren’t terrible, they’re just not amazing.

  • Sacrifice
    • Heals the party with 5HP but removes 5HP from your own health bar
  • Free Poison
    • Grant an ally with the Poison ability, but you can no longer use Ball
  • Happy SP
  • Lucky Start
    • Something ‘good’ occurs when you start a battle
  • Defend+
  • Ante Up
    • Getting an Action Command right increases your DMG, but if you get it wrong, you deal 0 DMG
  • SP Regen+
    • The SP you get back at the end of a battle is increased
  • Minimize
  • Baller
    • Ball attack power is boosted but you can no longer use your sword
  • Knight
    • Sword attack power is boosted but you can no longer use your ball
  • Speed Spin
    • Spin dash increases in speed but ends quickly
  • Sword Toss
    • Throw your sword at the enemy

C Tier

I don’t have much to say about these cards…

  • Dynamite
  • ATK-FX Y
    • It’s cool, but its only ability is changing the sound effects of your attacks
  • ATK-FX B
    • The same goes for this one too! (See above for details)
  • ATK-FX G
    • And this one too! (Check the 2 entries above)
  • Hard Mode
    • Increases the level of difficulty to grant you extra EXP

D Tier

The weakest cards in Block Tales.

  • Ball
    • The standard card that every player obtains as soon as they start the game
  • Sword
    • Breaks down wooden planks and attacks enemies
  • Defender
    • Boosts your Defense by 1 but reduces your Attack by 1
  • Slow Go
