Singaporean esports organisation BLEED Esports has been officially removed from the VALORANT Champions Tour and VCT Pacific circuits.
The official announcement came directly from Riot Games, with the company stating that the removal was due to failing to comply with ‘critical reporting requirements’ and other obligations under the Team Participation Agreement (TPA). With one vacant spot in the VCT Pacific, the publisher promoted Ascension Pacific runner-up Boom Esports to the tier-one league.

Aside from failing to comply with Riot Games’ requirements, the update also states there were ‘persistent operational failures’ from the esports organisation, forcing BLEED Esports to be removed from the league. As a result of the teams’ removal, several BLEED Esports players, including Jaccob ‘yay’ Whiteaker, are seeking other opportunities.
BLEED Esports made a public statement to address the outcome, stating that the team had issues related to the deliverables in the TPA. The organisation also noted that it will take some time to process and evaluate the team’s position in the FPS game.
Founded at the end of 2021, BLEED Esports is known for its endeavours across various esports titles, including Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Rainbow Six: Siege and Counter-Strike.
The team joined VCT Pacific after winning VCT Ascension Pacific 2023. This year, the team constantly fought in the bottom half of the standings, finishing last place in the latest VCT Pacific Stage 2. Earlier this year, BLEED Esports announced a partnership with content creator Disguised Toast’s esports team, Disguised, to bring a VALORANT roster in the Malaysia/Singapore region to compete in the VCT Challengers league.
Boom Esports is an Indonesian esports organisation founded in 2017, having fielded teams across Counter-Strike, Dota 2, Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile and VALORANT. The team previously fielded current Paper Rex player Jason ‘f0rsakeN’ Susanto for its CS:GO team prior to him making the transition to Riot Games’ shooter at the end of 2021.
