It’s a historic day for Activision’s blockbuster franchise, as the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 achievements can now be unlocked by Game Pass subscribers. After spending some time on our list of upcoming Game Pass games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 joins Xbox Game Pass for console, cloud, and PC, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone also join the Cloud Gaming library. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches into Xbox Game Pass todayFollowing its huge $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard last year, Microsoft launches its very first Call of Duty game into Xbox Game Pass today for Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. Set in the early 90s, Black Ops 6 follows rogue operatives Troy Marshall and Frank Woods as they attempt to remove a force known as Pantheon from existence. Pantheon has infiltrated the CIA, and it’s up to the operatives and their team of agents to stop the organization before it can wreak havoc on the world.Of course, alongside the new single-player campaign, it wouldn’t be a Call of Duty game without its PvP multiplayer, nor yet a Black Ops game without its signature Zombies mode, so expect plenty of intense gunfights as you blast your way through zombies and other players alike. On top of that, Black Ops 6 also introduces a new omnidirectional movement mechanic, which gives you the freedom to run, slide, and dive in any direction. Alongside Call of Duty Black Ops 6’s launch into Game Pass, Modern Warfare 3 and the free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone both join the Xbox Cloud Gaming library today. You’ll need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to play them on your mobile (for the moment, at least), but it’s still cool to see.If you fancy getting into the Call of Duty spirit further still, Microsoft has released a new range of Black Ops 6 Xbox accessories.
