Microids has announced that due to logistical issues, Beyond a Steel Sky will have a staggered release for both physical and digital versions of the game, depending on the territory you live in.Beyond a Steel Sky was given a November 30th launch date a couple of month’s back, but now, due to worldwide logistical issues and constraints, it’s changed a little bit. The game is now set to release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch at the following times:UK: The Switch digital version will release on November 30th as planned, while all other versions will launch on December 7th. North America: The Switch digital version will release on December 7th, with all other versions launching on December 14th.Australia & New Zealand: All digital versions of the game will launch on November 30th, with physical copies releasing on December 17th.The rest of the world: The Switch physical version will release on December 2nd, with all other versions releasing on November 30th as planned.“We deeply apologize for the inconvenience for players eager to get their hands on the game,” says the Microids spokesperson. “We thank you for your understanding.”Revolution Software has also released a new dev diary that explores the lore of Beyond a Steel Sky and how the team is focused on its mission for the game to be a spiritual successor to Beneath a Steel Sky.
