For those still working their way through the Starfield achievements or just enjoying what the RPG has to offer after completion, Bethesda says that a bunch of fixes and quality-of-life features will be coming to the game soon, which should improve the overall experience. Starfield is getting DLSS support, an FOV slider, and more soon”First, an enormous thank you to all of you playing Starfield and your support,” Bethesda Game Studios said in a post on its website. “We are absolutely blown away by the response and all you love about the game. We’re also reading all your great feedback on what you’d like to see improved or added to the game. This is a game we’ll be supporting for years and years to come, so please keep all the feedback coming! Even if we don’t get to your requests immediately, we’d love to do it in the future, like city maps.”The developer goes on to say that its current top priorities in Starfield are making sure that any progression-blocking bugs and stability issues are addressed and adding quality-of-life features that players have been asking for. Starfield’s first update is a small hotfix that will target a few “top issues,” but after that, you can expect a regular interval of updates that will include the “top community requested features” listed below:Brightness and Contrast controlsHDR Calibration MenuFOV SliderNvidia DLSS Support (PC)32:9 Ultrawide Monitor Support (PC)Eat button for foodThe developer says it’s also working closely with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel on driver support and that each update will include stability and performance improvements. In one of these updates, it’s likely that Bethesda will patch a recently discovered bug in Starfield that allows you to earn infinite credits through a muddy puddle. Elsewhere, Bethesda has confirmed that official mod support will be coming to Starfield in 2024.
