Looking for the best Warzone loadout to secure the win in Call of Duty’s battle royale? Warzone has been out for a while, and it’s clear that the best way to secure a win is to create a custom Warzone loadout drop and grab it in-match via the Warzone Buy Stations and regular drops.
In case you’re new to Call of Duty: Warzone and are just getting to grips with some of its curious additions – like the Gulag respawn mechanic – then loadout drops are a way of using your create-a-class setups from multiplayer in Warzone. Purchasing one of these will let you drop in your very own custom loadout almost instantaneously, meaning you can go from having a couple of common rarity weapons and some tactical gear to boasting two custom primary weapons of your choice, your favourite equipment, and even perks.
However, weapon balancing is very different in Warzone than it is in multiplayer, and your choice of perks, gadgets, and primaries will not translate perfectly to Warzone’s demands. We’ve earned plenty of wins and are pretty confident that we have the best loadout for Warzone to help you secure your first W, no matter how you prefer to play.
Warzone Season 4 has introduced a number of balance changes which bring in several underused weapons to the game. The developers have promised to make “sweeping balance changes” to weapons whenever the time is right. Right now, Warzone is continuing to go through its long-range phase as players opt for weapons with a high effective damage range.
We haven’t included any information about perks and equipment because most players tend to use the same setup: EOD, Overkill, and Amped along with C4 and a Heartbeat Sensor.

CR-56 AND Mac-10 WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
When it comes to powerful assault rifles, it’s hard to argue the CR56 isn’t the best weapon in the game right now. Each shot deals blistering amounts of damage, and it’s more than capable of picking off entire squads from range. Equipped with the best CR56 loadout, you will have to deal with a fair amount of recoil, but the damage more than makes up for this small trade off.
- Monolithic Suppressor
- XRK Zodiac S440
- VLK 3.0x Optic
- Commando Foregrip
- 45 Round Mags
Despite being on the receiving end of a number of nerfs, the Mac-10 continues to be a solid choice for anyone looking for a highly mobile weapon. With the best Mac-10 loadout, you can sprint past your opponents faster than they can shoot at you. Players that take advantage of this speed will typically dart around buildings, picking off unsuspecting players while they pick up nearby loot.
- Agency Suppressor
- 6.5” Cavalry Lancer
- Field Agent Grip
- STANAG 53 Rnd Drum
- Raider Stock
This loadout is perfect for players who want a straightforward setup. You’ve got your powerful CR-56 assault rifle, capable of downing enemies with only a burst of shots, and a Mac-10 which can delete enemies in seconds at close range. What’s not to love about this loadout?
XM4 AND Milano WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
The XM4 assault rifle is one of the best all-rounder weapons in the entire game – if you take the time to learn the unique recoil pattern, this should become a staple gun in your arsenal. The recoil can be toned down by picking the right attachments, or you can alter the loadout to favour more damage instead. That’s what makes the best XM4 loadout so powerful, it can be built for both close range and long range encounters without sacrificing anything.
- Agency Suppressor
- 13.7” Extended
- Axial Arms 3x
- Field Agent Grip
- STANAG 60 Rnd
It took a while, but the Nail Gun has finally been nerfed into the ground. We’ve gone for the Milano alongside the XM4 to occupy the same role. The close range Milano loadout is a force to be reckoned with, there aren’t many SMGs in the game that have the power and precision of this impressive weapon. Our loadout uses the Tiger Team Spotlight laser, making it slightly easier to land those hip fire shots.
Agency Suppressor
10.6 Task Force
Tiger Team Spotlight
STANAG 55 Rnd Drum
Raider Stock
This loadout uses the long distance version of the XM4, coupled with the incredibly powerful Milano to create the perfect all-rounder build. No matter what distance your enemies are trying to fight you at, you’ll always stand a chance with this setup.
Kar98k AND Milano WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
Arguably the best sniper rifle in Warzone, the best Kar98k loadout is a staple of the battle royale game thanks to its quick aim down sights time and high bullet velocity. If you consider yourself to be an expert sharpshooter, you won’t find a better weapon to show off your skills. It only takes one clean headshot to down an enemy, regardless of how many armour plates they have stocked up.
- Sniper Scope
- Monolithic Suppressor
- Singuard Custom 27.6″
- Tac Laser
- FTAC Sport Comb
Of all the weapons in the Warzone meta, the Milano 821 is the last SMG many people thought would become dominant any time soon. The Milano 821 is very similar to the XM4 – it can be built numerous ways to make it a mainstay in any of your favourite loadouts. When coupled with the Kar98k, we’ve gone for the close range Milano loadout to destroy anyone who attempts to flank you.
- Agency Suppressor
- 10.6” Task Force
- Tiger Team Spotlight
- Raider Stock
- STANAG 55 Rnd Drum
This loadout is perfect for mobile snipers, you can remain agile without having to worry about nearby enemies. The Milano is far too good to ignore at the moment thanks to its incredible mobility, coupled with excellent accuracy and damage.
STONER AND LC10 WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
If you hate reloading your weapon, the Stoner LMG is the perfect gun for you. Sporting large magazines which stock 120 bullets per clip, the Stoner gives you more than enough firepower to crush entire squads. Typically a weapon like this has problems with recoil, however our Stoner loadout has been designed to minimise this.
- Agency Suppressor
- 21.8″ Task Force
- 120 Rnd
- Field Agent Grip
- Axial Arms 3x
The Cold War MP5 loadout handles similarly to the Modern Warfare MP5, except it has slightly slower mobility. This weapon more than makes up for it with its fast aim down sight speed, allowing you to snap to enemies once they’ve spotted you.
- Agency Suppressor
- 9.5” Ranger
- SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
- Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag
- Serpent Wrap
If you’re missing the MG 82 and Nail Gun loadout that was popular for about five days, this alternative loadout should be familiar enough to keep you going.
Krig 6 AND LC10 WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
The Krig 6 received a substantial damage buff in Warzone Season 3, almost instantly becoming the go-to assault rifle. One of the few downsides to the best Krig 6 loadout is its poor mobility, but the weapon makes up for this in almost every key area. The damage output is among the best in the assault rifle class, as is the manageable recoil.
- Agency Suppressor
- 19.7” Ranger
- Axial Arms 3x
- Field Agent Grip
- Stanag 60 Rnd
The LC10 also received a buff this season, improving the bullet velocity on this underutilised SMG. With the extra bullet velocity, the best LC10 loadout is transformed into one of the most accurate weapons in the game. When combined with 52 round magazines, you should have plenty of bullets to down several nearby enemies.
- Agency Suppressor
- 13.9” Task Force
- Field Agent Grip
- Salvo 52 Rnd Fast Mag
- Raider Stock
We recommend this loadout to players who want the flexibility to attack enemies from great distances without having to resort to using a sniper rifle. The LC10 provides a bit of assurance if things start to get too close for comfort.
CW AK47 AND Bullfrog WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
The Cold War AK47 has been one of the most promising assault rifles to join Warzone since it was introduced in Season 1, but it’s very difficult to use for most people. The Season 3 update addressed this big problem by adjusting the recoil pattern, making it easier to control while firing. As a result, the best AK47 loadout can now be used to fire at enemies from a distance while maintaining its impressive damage output.
- GRU Suppressor
- 18.2” VDV Reinforced
- Spetsnaz Grip
- Bakelite 60 Rnd
- Microflex LED
Ever wanted to try an SMG with extra large magazines? The best Bullfrog loadout takes this SMG and transforms it into a LMG. The Bullfrog is a lightweight SMG equipped with 85 round magazines, an impressive damage range, and fantastic mobility.
- GRU Suppressor
- 6.7” VDV Reinforced
- Stanag 85 Rnd
- No Stock
- GRU 5mw Laser Sight
The Cold War AK47 pairs well with the Bullfrog as each weapon offers something completely different in the heat of battle. Sometimes you need an extra bit of accuracy that the AK47 can’t provide – this is where the Bullfrog comes in. Likewise, if your opponent has stocked up on armour plates, the AK47 will shred through them.
RAM 7 AND Kar98k WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
Missing the old FFAR 1? The RAM 7 is as close to the FFAR as you can get in terms of how the weapon feels. The mobility and accuracy are there, but the damage output is lacking. That being said, the best RAM 7 loadout is well worth using for any players looking for a great all rounder assault rifle.
- Muzzle Brake
- FORGE TAC Eclipse
- Commando Foregrip
- Tac Laser
- 50 Round Mags
There isn’t much to say about the Kar98k that hasn’t already been said. When it comes to bolt-action sniper rifles, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better weapon.
- Sniper Scope
- Monolithic Suppressor
- Singuard Custom 27.6″
- Tac Laser
- FTAC Sport Comb
The combination of the Ram-7 and Kar98k is similar to Season 2’s DMR-14 and Diamatti setup – using each of these weapons allows you to dominate at both short and long distances.
Pelington 706 and Bullfrog Warzone loadout
The Cold War sniper rifle has established itself as one of the best for aggressive players thanks to its quick aim down sights speed. The Pelington 706 is unlikely to receive a nerf any time soon as it’s a well balanced weapon – your time spent learning how to use this weapon won’t go to waste… until something better comes along. Here’s a peek at our best Warzone Pelington 706 loadout.
- 26.5” Tiger Team
- Raider Pad
- Infiltrator Grip
- Fast Loader
- Airborne Elastic Wrap
The Bullfrog is surprisingly lethal thanks to its impressive magazine size which rivals some of the best LMGs in the game. We’ve paired the Bullfrog alongside the Pelington so you can cover enemies from a distance and up close.
- GRU Suppressor
- 6.7” VDV Reinforced
- Stanag 85 Rnd
- No Stock
- GRU 5mw Laser Sight

Swiss K31 and MP5 WARZONE WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
The Swiss K31 received a number of buffs in the Warzone mid-season update to rival the Kar98k. Unlike our best Swiss loadout which focuses on taking enemies out from long distances, this setup targets enemies at medium range. As long as you stay close to buildings, you won’t have to worry about anyone attacking you from far away.
- Sound Moderator
- 24.9” Combat Recon
- SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
- Fast Mag
- Airborne Elastic Wrap
The Modern Warfare MP5 may not be the most popular SMG choice, but it’s an excellent option for short ranged encounters. This weapon is devastating up close thanks to its high damage and rate of fire. With the right attachments, you can build the best MP5 Warzone setup to take out multiple enemies using a single clip.
- Monolithic Integral Suppressor
- Merc Foregrip
- 5mW Laser
- 45 Round Mags
- FTAC Collapsible
ZRG 20MM AND PPSH-41 WARZONE LOADOUT DROP
When it comes to the best sniper rifles in Warzone, the ZRG 20mm is far and away the best long range option in the game. This weapon was already powerful prior to the mid-season update which upgraded the ZRG with numerous buffs. Not only did this sniper rifle receive a damage upgrade, the devs increased the amount of bullet penetration which means you can now shoot through certain types of cover. Give the best ZRG loadout a try if you want to dominate at long range.
- Agency Moderator
- 43.9” Combat Recon
- 5 Rnd
- Serpent Wrap
- Axial Arms 3x
As good as the ZRG 20mm is, you won’t be able to handle enemies up close without switching to a trusty secondary weapon. The PPSh-41 is an excellent choice as it features high mobility and an impressive damage output for an SMG.
- GRU Suppressor
- 15.7” Task Force
- Serpent Wrap
- Spetsnaz 71 Rnd Drum
- Raider Stock
When combined with the ZRG 20mm, you have a powerful option when confronted with enemies up close. The ZRG works so well from a distance that you will rarely have to fight against nearby enemies, but on the off chance that you do, you’ll be glad to have the PPSh with you.
