With a whole new Bestiary to explore, you might be shopping for a new rod. This Best Rod From Atlantis in Fisch thoughts piece tells you where I think you should spend your hard-earned credits and why!

Cast your line into the waters of Fisch on Roblox. For more covering the Atlantis update, check out our Fisch Poseidon Trial Walkthrough and Fisch Kraken Pools Guide.

Best Rod From Atlantis In Fisch

Before jumping into the best, you must first understand the competition. Atlantis expanded the rod roster with 7 new tools all stunting stats, passives and price. This guide isn’t comparing the rods from Atlantis with those outside of it but instead tells you which new rod from Atlantis is most worth your credits.

Not to be pedantic, but every rod serves a unique purpose, so you may disagree with my best pick and that’s fine! But, less yapping, let’s get into it.

Best Atlantis Rod – Poseidon Rod

Landing as the third most expensive worth 1,555,555 C$ and a pocket full of sharks, I think the best rod from the Atlantis update goes to the Poseidon Rod. Unlocking it requires a whole ordeal which you can learn about in the Fisch Poseidon Trial Walkthrough I linked at the start! In short, you need to collect six fish and place them on pedestals including the Phantom Megalodon…

But, with that out of the way, you’ll then have access to the Poseidon Rod and its exceptional end-game stats and passive.

  • Lure Speed: 50%
  • Luck: 165%
  • Control: 0.2
  • Resilience: 40%
  • Max KG: 100,000

What makes this rod so special is its overall balanced stats and exceptionally high Resilience, second only to the Abyssal Spectre Rod which has stats that don’t even compare to the Poseidon Rod. Alongside this, the Poseidon Rod has a 25% chance to generate additional cash with each caught fish equal to 75% of the catch’s base value. Truly a goated passive for money farming, especially in areas such as the Grand Reef.

Not only that, each reel has a 5% chance to conjure a Poseidon Ghost which casts lightning using his trident, applying King’s Blessing to fish and increasing their base weight by 75-150%. Again, this means they sell for way more making this rod meta for cash generation.

Runner Up – Kraken Rod

For a quick runner-up, I’d like to shed light on the more affordable and somewhat easier-to-obtain Kraken Rod. You still need to do a quest to reach the area where this Rod is sold, but it’s more forgiving than retrieving a Phantom Megalodon alongside other sharks… The Kraken Rod, as implied by the name, lurks in the Kraken Pool for 1,333,333 C$. The gate opens after each Clock’d handle faces the corresponding image to match the Clocks description. (Again, I linked a guide above to help out with this!)

Whilst its stats don’t quite compare, it makes a great alternative rod to use and also possesses some unique abilities.

  • Lure Speed: 60%
  • Luck: 185%
  • Control: 0.2
  • Resilience: 15%
  • Max KG: 115,000

Its passives include a guaranteed high-rarity fish every 50 catches, pulling up a Legendary, Mythic or Exotic depending on where the player is fishing. Alongside this, the rod has a 10% chance to double caught fish. Finally, a 5% chance to apply the Tentacle Surge mutation.
