What is the best AMR Mod 4 loadout in Black Ops 6 and Warzone? If you’re a sniper rifle fan, then there’s a stone-cold killer for you to get hands-on with in Black Ops 6 and Warzone by way of the AMR Mod 4. This mid-season unlock is labeled by Treyarch as “the hardest hitting weapon in its class,” and can one-shot kill – even with hits to hands or legs.
Having arrived in Black Ops 6 and Warzone during Season 1 as part of one of the seasonal Black Ops 6 events, this AMR Mod 4 loadout quickly established itself as one of the best BO6 loadouts the FPS game has to offer. So what are we waiting for? Let’s dig in.
Best Black Ops 6 AMR Mod 4 loadout
- Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Stock Pad: Lightweight Pad
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Rear Grip: Commando Grip
Considering the raw power of the AMR Mod 4, we solely need to focus on keeping it stable and ensuring you have the best chance of hitting shot after shot.
To do this we’re going to kick off with the Muzzle Brake, which pretty much eliminates first-shot recoil and resets the kick almost instantly. To maximize the sniper’s effective range, we’re going with old faithful in the Reinforced Barrel to amp up damage range and bullet velocity.
We’ve found the AMR Mod 4 to be incredibly manageable even at stock, so we’ve tacked on the Lightweight Pad next to mitigate ADS sway. Honestly, you seldom need to hold your breath with how stable this thing is with the pad attached – ridiculous.
Though the AMR Mod 4 has a pretty respectable six-round magazine, it never hurts to bump it up with the Extended Mag I, granting an extra two. Top things off with the Commando Grip to bolster ADS speed without the massive flinch penalty from the Quickdraw Grip and we’re good to go.
Best Black Ops 6 AMR Mod 4 class setup
- Secondary weapon: KSV
- Melee: Knife
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
- Lethal: Frag
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Forward Intel
- Perk 3: Cold-Blooded
- Specialty: Recon
- Wildcard: Overkill
We’ve been KSV advocates for a long time now, and it’s not stopped racking up the kills for us in multiplayer – courtesy of our BO6 KSV loadout, of course. When it comes to Overkill setups, this is the one.
When it comes to sniper classes, we’ve traditionally opted for the Frag (or Semtex) and Smoke combo. You don’t need to get fancy with your Lethal to have an impact, while Smoke Grenades are amazing rotational aids that keep you safe as you cross the map.
For Perks, we’ve opted for the Recon specialty-granting trio of Ghost, Forward Intel, and Cold-Blooded. Staying out of sight and out of mind (until you’re ready to take your shot) is crucial to being a top-tier sniper, and even when you have your SMG out you’ll benefit from being untraceable as you’ll (hopefully) have it suppressed.
Best Warzone AMR Mod 4 loadout
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Stock Pad: Lightweight Pad
- Rear Grip: Commando Grip
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
The best Warzone AMR Mod 4 loadout makes a few notable changes to its BO6 multiplayer counterpart, as it focuses more on stability and controlling recoil during squad engagements than picks here and there.
To achieve this, we’ve integrated the Compensator and Recoil Springs which dramatically reduce the AMR Mod 4’s kick. You’ll still have to do some management if you’re rapidly firing off shots (it is a semi-auto sniper, after all), but for the most part, it’ll be a smooth experience.
Best Warzone AMR Mod 4 class setup
- Secondary weapon: Jackal PDW
- Melee: Knife
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
- Lethal: Semtex
- Perk 1: Dexterity
- Perk 2: Quartermaster
- Perk 3: Ghost
- Wildcard: Overkill
While the KSV is our go-to for multiplayer, the Jackal PDW has been doing the business for us in Warzone, making it our SMG of choice in this Overkill build – peep our Jackal PDW loadout. Mirroring the BO6 class setup, we’ve once again opted for Semtex and Smokes for our grenade duo.
For Perks, we’re leaning slightly more towards SMG utility with Dexterity, though you can slap on Veteran to reduce flinch while ADS’ing and increase how long you can hold your breath. Quartermaster keeps your equipment topped up over time (more smoke, more rotation), while Ghost is crucial to keeping you off UAVs and other pesky radars.
