Starbreeze and 505 Games’ classic Xbox 360 adventure game, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, could be getting a remake, according to a new report from a reliable leaker. As reported by Billbil-kun on X, who has become a reputable source for leaks, a Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons remake will be announced soon. A release date is unknown, but it looks like we might not have to wait long for an announcement, the official website for the game appears to be undergoing some changes. The website is now locked behind a login, but before this appeared, there was a mysterious timer counting down to something. We’ve now blown past the countdown’s timer and nothing has been revealed, so we might need to wait until The Game Awards later today. The original game was developed by Starbreeze Studios and released on Xbox 360 in 2013 and Xbox One in 2015. Both versions of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons were hits with critics and players alike, thanks to the game’s aesthetic, co-op control system, and warming story, so it would be great to see it receive extra attention from a new audience on Xbox Series X|S.In Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, you control the siblings simultaneously with each thumb stick, guiding them through a fairytale world filled with puzzles, boss battles, and a host of platforming-style obstacles. Both versions of the game are still available on the Xbox Store, offering Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Xbox 360 achievements and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Xbox One achievements stacks — could we also be getting an Xbox Series X|S stack too?If a reveal is indeed imminent, 505 Games may announce it during Geoff Keighley’s show later today, so it could be worth staying tuned. If you fancy watching the show, we’ve got all of the details on when and where to watch The Game Awards 2023.
