Battlefield 2042 Season 5 brings legendary weapon to popular AOW mode

Battlefield 2042 Season 5 kicks off today, offering up a ton of new content to players on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as a fresh Battle Pass to work through.Season 5: New Dawn is now live in Battlefield 2042, bringing with it a number of new weapons and gadgets, a fresh map to fight over, the return of the highly requested RPG-7V2, quality-of-life improvements, and more. All players on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One can now jump in and start working through the brand-new Battle Pass now.Battlefield 2042 Season 5: New Dawn trailerFrom today, you can play the new Reclaimed map in Battlefield 2042, an abandoned industrial facility based in the Czechian region. The map offers sniper-focused areas from the multiple-floored warehouses and close-quarters arenas via bunkers, offering you plenty of ways to play with the three new weapons: BFP.50 handgun, GEW-46 assault rifle, and XCE Bar sniper rifle. On top of that, Anti-tank Grenades, Mini Grenades, and Spring Grenades have been added as gadgets, as well as the highly requested RPG-7V2 for All-Out Warfare.Later on, DICE will be adapting a number of Vault Weapons to be used with All-Out Warfare attachments, with more to follow in later updates, and Universal Cosmetics will also be available. The Hourglass map will receive a full rework sometime during Season 5, along with several management improvements, such as options to create and join squads and easier navigation of the menus.
