This weekend’s Free Play Days games have been announced, with Battlefield 2042 spearheading the four-day free-play window, backed up by The Sinking City and Star Renegades. The majority of the handful of completions on-site have over 100 hours in the shooter, so you’d likely need to forgo sleep for the full duration to even stand a chance at getting DICE’s latest finished up in time. Please don’t do that. The Sinking City, however, is (spoilers) the only one of the three games that is doable in the given time. Estimates put the janky Lovecraftian adventure at 20-25 hours, but with a bunch of achievements tied to specific in-game choices, you’d likely need to make multiple saves and ideally follow a guide in order to get it done in a few days. Star Renegades, like Battlefield, isn’t a completion you’ll get done in a weekend — we have only one confirmed console completion tracked on the site, at just shy of 250 hours, and that’s to say nothing of the fact that reports suggest many achievements were broken by the last major update, meaning it’ll likely take longer still, if it’s even doable.
