Battlecruisers is celebrating four years in action. So, the devs at Mecha Weka are dropping their biggest update to date, the ‘Trans Edition.’ The update adds a ton of new single-player and multiplayer content to the game.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

Three new Cruisers Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith are joining the fray. Two new Buildings Cannon and Sledgehammer along with two new Units SpyPlane and MissileFighter are also out now.

Existing Cruisers are getting fresh customization options with three new Bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler.

You can now choose Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime in Skirmishes. PvP matches now start with a countdown and aircraft trails now match player colours.

Balancing changes are everywhere, too. Some ships got buffs, like the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate jumping from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health increasing from 4000 to 4200. Meanwhile, the ShipTurret’s damage got a boost from 40 to 60, but its range dropped from 19 to 16.

Battlecruisers now features visually appealing underwater transparency, letting you properly gloat over your fallen enemies’ wreckage. The sea itself is now shaded while Cruiser and Ship deaths look even better.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has dropped major updates every year. This year’s Trans Edition adds to the adventure with more SideQuests and a mysterious Battlefortress lurking somewhere in the South Pacific.

The game’s setting is a Flooded Earth set in the year 2732. There are only robots building things and having a wage war. You control your own Battlecruiser, outfitting them with turrets, nuke launchers and ultraweapons while dealing with a dangerous set of enemies.
