AWS vet joins Auterion as drones ops go to cloud – sUAS News

Auterion, the company building an open and software-defined future for enterprise drone fleets, today announced the appointment of Jeff Jones as Chief Revenue Officer.
Considered one of the top emerging executives and strategists in the technology industry, Jones, who comes from Amazon Web Services, will lead and oversee the company’s revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, the partner ecosystem expansion and will grow Auterion’s external brand.

Jones joins Auterion with deep experience in the cloud computing, software and hardware industries where he has led business development, sales, marketing and customer success organizations across commercial and public sector segments, specializing in strategy, driving new revenue, customer acquisition and retention internationally in previous roles. Most recently, Jones was the Head of Partner Growth at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he helped invent new co-selling organizations, bringing over 20 years of alleviating friction points, accelerating rapid company growth and experience in assisting customers find tangible value in new, innovative solutions to help their businesses.

Jeff’s hiring is the latest milestone for Auterion, with the company recently announcing the appointment of Cynthia Huang, VP of Enterprise Business Development and Romeo Durscher, VP of Public Safety to bring the power of open standards to help the global market to fully realize the potential of their drone and autonomous systems with open source software.
