Beautiful indie adventure Phoenotopia: Awakening first released late last year on other systems, and was received rather well. Now, it looks like it’ll be bounding onto Xbox next month, and we have the achievements already. Described as “an action-adventure puzzle platformer inspired by the great classics,” Phoenotopia: Awakening is a greatly evolved version of the original Flash game that shows clear inspiration from the likes of Zelda and Cave Story, with a spot of Terraria thrown in for good measure. You might not realise to look at the list, since it all refers exclusively to in-game badges rather than the actual requirements, but some of these look like they’ll be a bit of a pain. Weirdly, the PlayStation trophy list over on TT does give the full requirements, so you can always cross-reference there to see what you’ll be up against. The good news is that the original version’s brutal ‘deathless run’ achievement has been binned off, but the bad news for many is that there are still a good few related to collectables, as well as those ever-popular speedrun (Speed Runner) and ‘no upgrade’ run (Zero Trial) achievements.
