Set in Britain’s picturesque Lake District, Atomfall sees us uncover the fictional mysteries of the 1957 Windscale disaster and the quarantine zone we find ourselves in, with no memory of our past.Despite its gorgeous setting, Atomfall is filled with dangers, and we’ll need to fight tooth and nail if we want to piece together the mysteries of the quarantine zone. According to the trailer, our character isn’t the first “amnesiac” to arrive in Lake District with no memory of their past life.With the zone under military control, filled with bandits and other monstrosities, and promising death at every turn, we’ll need to take a brave step into the unknown and explore encampments, caves, abandoned bunkers, Pagan ruins, and more to uncover the truth.The trailer gives us a look at a few weapons we’ll be able to find, including cricket bats, rifles, revolvers, shotguns, and more, which can all be upgraded with recipes and resources we find on our adventures.
