Whether you’ve collected all the Atlas Fallen achievements or are yet to start, all players on Xbox Series X|S will be able to enjoy the new content on August 6, and Focus Entertainment has confirmed that Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand will add two more achievements to the game. The Xbox RPG’s major update adds a host of content, including a New Game+ mode, fresh quests, a harder difficulty, and more.Atlas Fallen gets massive Reign of Sand update and new achievements soonOver on Steam, developer Deck13 reveals some of the content coming to Atlas Fallen when Reign of Sand rolls out for free in August. Alongside a new, harder difficulty: Nyaal’s Nightmare, you’ll also be able to experience the game via a New Game+ mode, carrying over your equipment, materials, and character progression for another blast through the sand against new enemies, the ability to find fresh items and weapon upgrades, and more. The update will also introduce Source, an “entangled, distorted divine plane where combat reaches a fever pitch.” Armed with new Wraith abilities, you’ll be able to transform into various monsters from around the world as you work through a brand-new questline and take on new bosses. The open world will also get a new encounter called Corruption Breaches, which switch up the rules with gameplay modifiers in unique ways.Alongside the fresh gameplay, Deck13 will also be adding new enemies to Atlas Fallen, such as the Morpher, a creature that battles in the air and on the sand, and the Weaver, which the team says is a “nasty little flying critter that you will face in New Game+.” There will also be another 25 new Essence Stones to uncover, expanding our arsenal of upgrades with even more variety.Interestingly, Reign of Sands will also add two new achievements.
