Earlier last month, Asus said it will unveil the ROG Phone 6 on July 5 at multiple events in Taipei, Berlin, and New York. Today, the company announced it will launch the ROG Phone 6 in India as well on the same day alongside the ROG Phone 6 Pro. Both smartphones will be introduced to the Indian market through a virtual event which will be streamed live on YouTube starting at 5:20PM local time.

Asus hasn’t detailed the ROG Phone 6’s specs sheet yet, but the company has already confirmed a few features, including the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 165Hz screen, and improved cooling. The smartphone will also be splash-resistant, and Asus is advertising it as the “world’s 1st IPX4 gaming phone.”
Thanks to TENAA, we also know the ROG Phone 6 will come with a 6.78″ screen, 18GB RAM, 512GB storage, 64MP primary camera, 12MP selfie shooter, and a 6,000 mAh battery.

The ROG Phone 6 was also spotted on Geekbench with Android 12 and 16GB RAM, while 3C revealed 65W charging support.
