Astro Bot developer Team Asobi has revealed in an FAQ on the game’s official website that the upcoming PS5 title will be significantly larger than the tech demo Astro’s Playroom, which was bundled with every PS5 at launch.One question asks if Astro Bot on PS5 would be free like Astro’s Playroom, to which the developer responded as follows:No. Unlike ASTRO’s Playroom, ASTRO BOT is a standalone, full-sized adventure that offers over four times more worlds, 300 bots to rescue and dozens of new powers and features to discover.Related Content – Upcoming PS5 Games 2024: The Best PS5 Games Coming SoonElsewhere, Team Asobi revealed that there will be no microtransactions, stating, “No, each planet already has plenty of coins to find and spend in the Gatcha Lab.” Team Asobi previously revealed during an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Astro Bot is ‘biggest game we’ve ever made,’ and it represents a new beginning for the franchise.
