Team Asobi has revealed on the PlayStation Blog that the newly-announced Astro Bot for PS5 will include more than 80 different levels spread across six galaxies. Astro is also equipped with over 15 new abilities that allows players to tap into various unique play styles. Furthermore, Astro Bot will take full advantage of the DualSense controller, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Astro’s new powers include the Barkster, the Bulldog Booster allowing you to air-dash and smash through foes, and the Twin-Frog Gloves that give you access to long-range punching. Special mention to the deadly cobra queen Lady Venomara who appears in the trailer, waiting for you in her golden lair. Defeating each boss will uncover a wonderful secret but we don’t want to spoil that, so our lips are sealed. And for the brave ones of you craving even more challenge, the game comes packed with die-and-retry levels to test your reflexes.Astro Bot is launching for PS5 on September 6, 2024.
