Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Sigrblot Festival kicks off today, handing out 50 free Opals

The Sigrblot Festival is live now in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, adding new activities, quests, and rewards, including a one-handed sword — plus, you can grab 50 free Opals. The Opals can be claimed through Ubisoft Connect, and spent in Reda’s Shop. “Raiding season is almost here,” the devs add. “Rivers are high, clearing paths for new arrivals to Ravensthorpe. During the Sigrblot Festival… fires blaze and forges glow, adding to the heat and lust for battle. Training, preparation, and sacrifice are essential but they’re worth the rewards. Whether you raid England or prepare to invade Francia, the gods will be on your side!”The festival adds three new activities: Test Your Metal, War Games, and Fight or Flyte. Test Your Metal involves “brawl-like matches” where you can fight with either dual daggers, dual shields, or a one-handed sword. War Games brings a new Orlog challenge, while Fight or Flyte involves a flyting match with Ake. As usual, you can earn festival tokens from these activities to spend at the festival shop. The new quests, meanwhile, involve helping Braun with preparations for the festival in The Three Big Pigs, while you can also “contribute to The War Effort by completing festival activities and quests and by gathering supplies for The Siege of Paris.” Lastly, those rewards include a one-handed sword, a mount, new weapons, gear, and tattoos, and settlement cosmetics.The Sigrblot Festival is live now and runs until August 19th, while the Siege of Paris DLC arrives on August 12th.
