Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will soon get the free Forgotten Saga mode and Title Update 1.6.0, with the Sigrblot festival returning shortly after.Arriving tomorrow, August 2nd, we have Title Update 1.6.0 and the free Forgotten Saga mode. Shortly after on August 4th, we have the arrival of the Sigrblot festival as a free time-limited event running until August 25th. The Ubisoft Gameplan YouTube channel featured a video on “five things to know” about the Forgotten Saga DLC — check it out below:Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Forgotten Saga mode arrives tomorrowThe Forgotten Saga free mode is described as “roguelite-inspired” and sees you ranging through the four regions of Niflheim. We don’t yet have the patch notes for Title Update 1.6.0, but it’s likely we’ll see those later today or early tomorrow morning. As for the Sigrblot festival, if it’s anything like last year’s festival, it’ll see you taking part in new activities and quests to earn festival tokens and new rewards. Last year’s players also got 50 free Opals to celebrate the start of the festival, so hopefully we’ll see a similar reward this time around.Meanwhile, The Forgotten Saga trophies have scanned in over on TrueTrophies, suggesting that we’ll see nine new achievements added with the free DLC.That seems to be everything for August, but we know that Ubisoft will “unveil the future of Assassin’s Creed” in September, so we can expect more then.
