Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Xbox Series X|S update that looks to add a 60fps mode could be released next week when the game joins Xbox Game Pass, and Ubisoft is teasing… something.Update: Ubisoft has confirmed that Origins’ performance-boosting update will arrive on June 2nd, several days ahead of the game arriving on Xbox Game Pass.Original story: Teasing things is always fun, but being teased can sometimes be woefully heart-breaking, especially when you know that the company dropping teases has two new additions looming on the horizon. Ubisoft’s latest tweet could very much be construed as Assassin’s Creed Origins will soon be on Xbox Game Pass, which is true, or it could be the arrival of the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 update we’ve been waiting for. Xbox Game Pass welcomes Assassins Creed Origins soonUbisoft announced back in December that it was working on a 60fps update for Assassin’s Creed Origins, much the same as the update released for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that arrived last August. Around the same time as we learned of the game’s Xbox Game Pass entry date, a 60fps update was reportedly found on the PlayStation database, which gives us a bit of hope that the update is ready to go.Assassin’s Creed Origins is set to join Xbox Game Pass next Tuesday, June 7th, so the tweet could be building some hype for that, but we’re optimistic that we’ll see Egypt in glorious 60fps very soon. We would love to know what you make of the tweet, so drop a comment below and share your hopes and dreams with us!
