Ubisoft thanked the Assassin’s Creed community on Assassin’s Creed Day, adding that it was “looking into adding 60fps support” for Assassin’s Creed Origins. Ubisoft tweeted the news on Assassin’s Creed Day, after thanking the player community for its “continued support, passion, and vigilance.” The tweet also hinted at more to come for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but it’s in a follow-up tweet that we learn that 60fps support could be on the way for Assassin’s Creed Origins. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey got 60fps support in a title update earlier this year, so it seems like the right time for Ubisoft to turn its attention to Origins. It’s a busy time for Assassin’s Creed games, meanwhile: Ubisoft spoke of more to come in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla — the Yule festival and the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey crossover stories are already live, and will be followed by the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC in March, but it also mentioned “an exciting future for AC” in general. We’ll keep you posted on what that future looks like when Ubisoft shares more. Will you be jumping back into Assassin’s Creed Origins if and when that 60fps support update arrives? Let us know in the comments!
