With the upcoming release of the Terrifier Artcade Game, Selecta Play has unveiled a Collector’s Edition that is stacked with additional goodies for fans. The game itself isn’t due to release until October 17th of this year. If you want this edition of the game, make sure to preorder sooner rather than later so you don’t miss out!

Available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam, you can wishlist the game now or learn more via the official Terrifier Artcade website.

What Does the Terrifier Artcade Collector’s Edition Include?

As well as the game, on the platform of your choice, the Collector’s Edition bundle comes with a variety of collectable pieces that all Terrifier fans are sure to want. From the promotional image, and the information available, we know that this edition includes a lovely letter from Damien Leone, as well as a not-so-sweet letter from Art the Clown.

On top of that, there’s a reversible poster, gloves sprayed in fake blood, and a ‘Vomit Bag’ that reads “Don’t Mess Up Your Couch!”. The latter item is no doubt a subtle nod towards the reports of people throwing up and fainting in theatres when watching the Terrifier movies.

Decorate your bag and everyday items with the enamel pins of both Vicky and Art the Clown, and use the sticker sheet to adorn your notebooks and laptops with your favourite horror franchise. There’s also an art book that you can browse through!

If you’re a completionist, you’ll be glad to know that the Terrifier Artcade Collector’s Edition features an exclusive Hardcore Mode, which has a character skin and an alternative ending.

What is the Terrifier Artcade Game?

If hearing about the Collector’s Edition is the first time you’ve found out about the Terrifier Artcade game, then let’s go over it a little! Matching the retro slasher vibes of the trilogy, the game features pixelated sprites, a Chiptune (8-bit) soundtrack, and gameplay mechanics that take inspiration from old arcade titles.

Play solo or with others via local co-op to brawl against enemies… or each other. Pick up chainsaws (just like Art the Clown) and other weapons to battle your way through those that stand in your way – the world is your oyster. Each stage features new enemies and locations, as well as boss fights that put you to the test. Fancy an extra challenge? There are a total of 6 game modes to play through and try out.

Choose between Art the Clown, Vicky, Burke, and The Little Pale Girl before launching into the action. Gameplay-wise, it really does remind me of The Simpsons Arcade Game, which is an absolutely classic brawler title. But this one is a little more gory, to say the least.

If you like horror games, like me, you might want to look into Eyes Never Wake, which is an upcoming title that utilises your webcam!
