Digital Domain anticipates being intimately involved in all aspects of the project through the game’s release in the spring of 2025.”A Studio Wildcard spokesperson has since told Games Radar+ that Digital Domain’s Ark 2 release window was “just a typo,” and the developer “has no idea where that came from.” Ark II was given a hefty delay in March, pushing its Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass release out of this year to the end of 2024. In the announcement post, Studio Wildcard said: “After careful consideration, we have decided to delay the sequel’s launch to the end of 2024, when it will still launch exclusively on Xbox, Game Pass, and Windows distribution platforms (Steam/PC). We’ve put much thought into delaying Ark 2 for the betterment of the final product and the team’s well-being.
