With an annual production capacity of 26 million tons of iron concentrate, Mont-Wright is the largest open-pit iron mine in Canada.ODAS® enables our clients to digitize their mining assets and ensure optimized monitoring of their mine’s status. For this project, we used our ARA-405 drones to conduct bathymetric an topographic surveys, which we then integrated to create a complete digital twin of the mine. This approach allows for rapid inventory updates on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.Mining sites benefit significantly from this technology, which is the fastest and most precise solution on the market for this type of survey. In a single day, our drones cover up to 2,000 hectares of topographic and bathymetric surveys. In less than 72 hours, our clients receive a comprehensive report with highly accurate 2D and 3D models of their site, thereby optimizing the management and safety of their operations.
