POCKETNOW VIDEO OF THE DAY

The new AirPods Pro 2 earbuds are expected to look slightly similar to the current AirPods (3rd generation) earbuds. New design renders suggest that the charging case will largely remain unchanged, although it looks like it will have speaker holes next to the existing Lightning port. These speakers will reportedly allow iPhone users to play a sound to find mislocated and lost AirPods, letting them find their earbuds easily. The left side may also contain a hole for a lanyard.

Specifications, Features & Sensors
The AirPods Pro 2 wireless earbuds are expected to be powered by a new Apple H1 chipset, which is expected to improve the performance, battery life and lower the latency for listening to audio. Recent rumors also suggest that the chipset would support a new adaptive active noise cancellation feature, which could adjust automatically based on the user’s environment and surroundings. Other rumors also claim that we’ll see new drivers, and a self-adaptive equalization method to improve spatial audio and other currently existing features.
The new earbuds are also expected to feature new hearing aid capabilities. It’s not entirely clear how this would work in practice, but the hardware and software could work together to enhance the audio playback in real-time, helping people hear better. Current generation AirPods Pro earbuds have already been used by many people, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see Apple focus more on these features. That being said, there’s very little information, so we recommend taking this with a grain of salt.
The current generation AirPods and AirPods Pro earbuds don’t support Lossless audio support because the Bluetooth technology is limited to the AAC codec. Leaks and reliable sources claim that AirPods Pro 2 might feature a new Apple Lossless audio codec called ALAC. The new codec is expected to bring significant upgrades to how audio is played back.
Heart rate detection and body temperature sensors

Previous rumors claimed that AirPods Pro 2 could feature a new heart rate and body temperature sensor to improve health measurements and track fitness activities. According to_Mark Gurman,_the second-generation Apple earbuds will miss out on these features as the prototypes aren’t yet ready for mass production. The new sensors were rumored to offer more health-related features, and the additional heart-rate sensor was expected to increase the accuracy for tracking sports activities. The new sensors are expected to arrive in a future generation of AirPods Pro earbuds.
AirPods Pro 2: USB-C
The AirPods Pro 2 earbuds have also been rumored to come with a USB-C port, but that’s unlikely to happen this year. Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has said that the second-generation AirPods Pro isn’t expected to feature a USB-C port and will instead pack the same lightning port on this year’s model. The USB-C port change is rumored to happen next year, although some leakers claim it might still happen in 2022.
Find My

The next generation AirPods Pro are expected to have a more advanced and useful Find My integration. Like AirTags, the charging case is expected to receive a tracking feature to let iPhone users track down and find their earbuds. Additionally, the case is rumored to have speaker grills on the bottom, letting users play a sound when the AirPods are left behind or help track it down.
AirPods Pro 2: What we want to see
Hearing Aid: On the second-generation AirPods Pro 2, we would love to see features dedicated to the hearing-impared. We heard a lot of stories about how the current generation AirPods Pro helped people hear better, and we would love to see it as a dedicated feature.USB-C: Although it’s not expected to arrive this year, we would love to see the inclusion of a USB-C port on the bottom of the charging case. We have long dreamed of a universe where we all could use a single cable to charge our gadgets and accessories.Lossless Audio: Audio sounds excellent on the AirPods Pro, but there is much more room for improvement. Considering that these are rather expensive earbuds, we hope to see a new lossless codec on the next generation. The new audio would allow us to immerse ourselves better while listening to music, watching videos, or playing games.More earbuds tips: The AirPods Pro was the first audio product from Apple to allow users to change their ear tips. This helped make the earbuds more comfortable and provided a more secure fit. We hope to see more size options, which could significantly improve the fitting for even more people.Improved noise cancelation: The current generation AirPods are some of the best wireless earbuds for canceling out loud noises. Apple has an excellent algorithm, but it’s been a while since the first generation was introduced. We’d love to see significant improvements to further enhance the experience for millions of people.
