Apex Legends: Saviors will introduce Newcastle as a new Legend, along with a “downed beast” on Storm Point, a reworked Ranked system, and more. Check out the new trailer below:We’ll see a full ‘Hero reveal’ in an instalment of Stories From the Outlands later this week on April 28th. In the meantime, we’re told: “When a monstrous beast attacks Storm Point, new Legend Newcastle leaps into the fray to protect and inspire his fellow Legends: because that’s what heroes are for.”Over on the Apex Legends site, the devs warn of the “Downed Beast,” adding, “what treasures lie on the shores of Storm Point. Stay sharp, and stick together, even dead beasts hold danger.” The reworked Ranked system, meanwhile, will apparently “reward teamwork and skill”, and there will be a Saviors Battle Pass with daily and weekly challenges, handing out rewards such as Legendary skins.A huge Apex Legends leak last month purported to reveal the next nine Legends coming to the game; there has been no official confirmation on this leak, but it did correctly guess that Newcastle would be the first.
