Anime Vanguards Igros Boss Event
At the time of writing this guide, the boss event is available for another 20 days and 13 hours, so you have plenty of time to get it done! Completing the boss event successfully rewards you with a variety of items, including the elusive Commander Tokens which can only be obtained via this battle.
To access the event, head to the Raids area and look for the Song Jinwu NPC standing outside. He has ‘Boss Event’ written above his head in bright red, so you’ll spot him easily! Interacting with him opens the window for the event, with the green ‘Start’ button at the bottom.
How to Beat the Igros Boss
The first thing to mention about the Blood-Red Chamber fight is that you cannot have any active Traits. When you enter this battle, all of your current Traits are temporarily disabled. Another thing to note about Igros is that his power increases as his HP declines. He can also stun all units (as long as they’re close by) when letting out a scream.
I recommend having at least one farm unit in your lineup to save up some cash. Then, prioritise placing your Mythic, Legendaries, and Secret units (if you have any) down. Remember to upgrade them outside of the battle as much as possible. This means evolution, ascension, etc! With Traits being disabled, you’re relying on the raw damage and power of your units.
