Anime Vanguards Ascension Guide
Ready to sacrifice a Mythic? Well, you’ll have to be ready, as that’s what ascension is all about! You can only ascend units that are Mythic rarity, and you need three of the same to do so. When you ascend your units, they gain a small boost to their base statistics, making them a little stronger. This is great if you don’t want to evolve them or don’t meet the requirements to do so just yet.
Although it sounds similar to evolving your units, it’s different enough given the character faces no cosmetic changes and only benefits from receiving a partial buff to its DMG, SPA and RANGE. What makes Ascension so versatile versus Evolution is that the only requirement is duplicate units, that you already won’t be able to equip into your team as you cannot have doubles.
How To Ascend Units
If you’re willing to part ways with a Mythic, here’s how you do it! Make your way to the NPC in the lobby who looks like Kakashi Hatake from Naruto and interact with him. He is located to the left of the Summon area. When speaking to him, he will open a window, where you can input the unit you wish to ascend and see the requirements.
Before you ascend a unit, you can preview what they gain by selecting the ‘Preview’ button. This way, you can see if it’s worth doing. You can only ascend a unit three times, so keep that in mind. Each time you ascend, a small star will appear next to your unit as a reminder.
