Anime Genesis Tier List
If a unit isn’t in the tier list yet, it’s because we haven’t firmly decided where to put it yet, we’ll add more as we progress!
S Tier
Hands down the best units you can find. These will help you cut through content like it’s high quality sashimi. These can take pride of place in your squad for almost any usage, and you shouldn’t have any worries about spending resources on these.
- Igres
- Aiza
- Sasuka (Hebi)
- Chein
- Beek
- Aka
A Tier
Not quite on S Tier’s level, but still excellent units that can form a team’s backbone with no trouble. They might not clear a whole stage on their own, but they still do an excellent job in their role, and can still be a squad’s heavy hitter or support star.
B Tier
Good, not spectacular. These units are viable to use throughout the game, but maybe don’t bring the same star power as the higher tiers do. Don’t worry though, they’re still pretty good and might stay in your roster a while before you swap them out, just don’t spend too much on upgrades.
C Tier
Alright, I guess. These are the less impressive units that are really only useful at early game choices. Some might have a few specific uses for special strats though. Just don’t expect them to be a mainstay of your roster. Upgrading them won’t make them viable as much as waste resources.
D Tier
Extremely basic units. Use only at the very start, if at all. For most of these you’ll probably get one to round off your unit list then unthinkingly sell them every time they appear after that. Sorry D Tier units, you’re just not that great.
