Anime Defenders Banners Guide
If you frequent tower defences, you’ll have a rough idea of how the banner system works. First, walk or teleport over to the ‘Summons’ area where you can view the current roster of units for pulling. Banners rotate every few hours to offer a unique selection of units and force you not to spend all your Gems in one place if you want team diversity.
Per every banner, there will be one Secret unit, a Mythic unit, a Legendary unit, a handful of Epics and then a plethora of lower grades. When you spin for a unit, you gain some progress into the built-in pity system. How this works is, for every 50 units purchased you’ll receive the banner’s current Legendary unit for free. And, for every 400 units purchased, you’ll receive the banner’s current Mythic.
Keep an eye on this to make sure you redeem your free pity unit during a banner rotation where you actually want that unit! It is also worth noting that receiving one of these rarity units during pulls will reset the pity, so it is only for the unluckiest of players.
Unit Chances
When pulling for a new unit these are your chances:
- Rare: 27.5%
- Epic: 12.25%
- Legendary: 2%
- Mythic: 0.25%
- Secret: ???
Pulling for units costs Gems, and whilst you don’t get a bulk buy deal, it is quicker and more satisfying to grind. So, I’d recommend stocking up on Gems from Missions, Quests and Achievements before pulling for units. Per one unit, it will cost 50 Gems, and then 500 Gems for 10 pulls!
