During the Xbox Partner Preview, we had a surprise shadow drop! The critically acclaimed Animal Well is out now on Xbox, and we have picked up the weird and wonderful Animal Well achievements. Animal Well is an unusual puzzle platformer with Metroidvania elements that’s filled with mysteries and hidden secrets. Once you have hatched from your flower, you must explore an interconnected labyrinth to unlock its secrets while collecting items to manipulate the environment around you. Developer Billy Basso says that on your journey, you will “Encounter beautiful and unsettling creatures as you attempt to survive what lurks in the dark. There is more than what you see.” Animal Well launched on PS5, Switch, and PC back in May and is considered one of this year’s best games by both critics and players, so it’s good to see it finally arrive on Xbox Series X|S. As for the Animal Well achievements, well, if you don’t like weird Gamerscore values, stop scrolling — it’s a glorious massacre down there! All but one of the achievements are secret, so we won’t discuss them in-depth here, but you will find achievements with Gamerscore values of 32, 45, 64, 65, and 128.
