Amazon’s Cloud Gaming Service Launches In US

Amazon today announced that the highly anticipated Luna, a cloud gaming service, is now live and available for all customers in the mainland United States. Luna boasts an extended library of games and launches alongside a flurry of new features with support available on PC, Mac, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, iOS, Android, and Chromebook.

Luna promises to get players in on the action without needing to updating games, upgrade hardware, or wait for lengthy downloads. A new Prime Gaming Channel is now available, allowing Amazon Prime members to enjoy a rotating selection of free games, with March including Devil May Cry 5, the fantastic Observer: System Redux, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and more.

Alongside the Prime Gaming Channel are the Retro & Jackbox Games Channels, allowing players to experience classic titles from Capcom and SNK alongside Jackbox Games’ iconic party titles. Additionally, Luna supports live broadcasting to Twitch.

Rockstar Games recently released a long list of fixes and improvements across all of the titles in the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition, which includes 2021 remasters of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

After the successful launch of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, it would’ve been safe to assume we’d have to wait a while for another major entry into the Pokemon series. However, Nintendo announced over the weekend that two brand new games will be joining the mainstream releases of the Pokemon franchise.

FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, one of the years highest rated MetaCritic games thus far, continues to impress as its brand new IP smashes records set by Dark Souls 3, increasing boxed launch sales by 26%.
