Alone in the Dark Sarcophagus Puzzle
Once you have found the warehouse safe code and have finally had access to the documents with which you can learn the address you were looking for to find Jeremy, it is time to head in the direction of this house. Fortunately, after you collect the evidence in the safe and go down to the ground floor, some enemies will break a door and that’s where you’ll have to go.
Get rid of the enemies that burst in and wait for the flames to dissipate before you can go through the newly opened door. Just on the right, you see an illuminated door. This is the address you were looking for all this time. Enter the house, follow the obligatory path, and watch the cutscene that will explain what is happening.
Once the cutscene is over, in order to continue with your adventure, you will have to solve a very simple puzzle. In the room, there is a sarcophagus in which you can insert your beloved talisman that you collected at the beginning of the game, and that talisman will be your faithful companion for the entire journey. However, before inserting the talisman into the appropriate space on the sarcophagus, look to the right of the sarcophagus; on the ground, you will see an item with the zodiac signs drawn on it.
Does it remind you of anything? Surely. We have already had to solve puzzles throughout history using the zodiac signs. In this case, the solution is even simpler. As you can see, the signs that are highlighted lightly are Pisces, Gemini, and Virgo. This means that they are the key to being able to solve the Alone in the Dark sarcophagus puzzle.
Open the menu again, which contains all the clues you need to solve the puzzles, and find the one containing the zodiac signs. By doing some quick reasoning, you will realize that the signs highlighted on the item correspond to the following numbers: 2, 5, 8. Now, all you have to do is insert the talisman inside the sarcophagus to be able to turn the rings so as to reach the mentioned combination of numbers.
