Tycoon RNG Meteors
Ever noticed your screen shake alongside a large explosion somewhere around the map? That’s a meteor! I wondered what it was the first few times I encountered it whilst building my tycoon. However, it wasn’t until I got a meteor myself that I finally understood what it was.
If you’ve ever had the short cutscene of a star before you get a ‘rare’ drop, it’s basically that, but even rarer. If you manage to get a meteor, it’s an achievement! They’re rare in the first place, and you even get a shiny new machine to go with it. The screen goes black as usual like it does with the star animation, but a meteor flies across the screen instead. It then crashes into your tycoon, shaking the entire map for all players on the server.
Meteor Rarities
Speaking of rarities, the meteors that spawn also have drop rate chances! The colour of the meteor represents the rarity of the meteor, and they each come with a strange quote. Who knows what these quotes mean? It seems like there may be more lore hidden within the game than we realise.
