Who are The First Berserker Khazan bosses? At the end of each level, a doorway housing one of the 16 main bosses stands in your way. A fair few of them will likely stump you for a long period of time, but with enough perseverance, you should be able to overcome any obstacle.

To take them down easily, equip the best The First Berserker weapons to increase your stats and put up a good fight. Remember, knowledge is power, so it’s always worth learning about the boss fights in The First Berserker Khazan, as well as all the side mission refights to see how they’re different.

The First Berserker Khazan bosses in order

Here are all of The First Berserker Khazan bosses:

  • Yetuga
  • Blade Phantom
  • Viper
  • Volbaino
  • Aratra
  • Rangkus
  • Maluca
  • Elamein
  • Shactuka
  • Trokka
  • Bellerian
  • Skalpel
  • Princess Ilyna
  • Hismar
  • Reese
  • Ozma

Yetuga is a giant yeti covered in ice shards and is the first of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Yetuga

This first boss is a larger version of the Yetis you’ve already encountered. His attacks are easy to predict, so getting the hang of perfect guarding will serve you well. He also has breakable ice shards and a lunging grab attack where he crushes your body if it connects. If he runs away from you, prepare to dodge his lunging dive as this is his most powerful attack. After breaking his poise once, he’ll charge up for a frost beam. Run to his back to avoid this icy attack.

Blade Phantom

As a humanoid foe, the Blade Phantom’s poise will recover any time he is not attacking you, so keep that in mind and manage your stamina accordingly. As the battle progresses, the Blade Phantom uses more violent and desperate attacks, so be prepared for anything.

Viper is a snarling lizardkin warrior and is the third of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Viper

The Viper is a giant lizardkin with a polearm, and he’ll give you a tough time as the first boss with two phases. In the first phase, be on the look out for his deadly grab and powerful whirlwind attack. After a hard fight, he’ll use a dragon’s scale to mutate his body. He can then whip up vision-obscuring whirlwinds to attack from the shadows around the arena.

Volbaino is a giant stag monster armed with a hammer and nail, and is the fourth of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Volbaino

This stag monster once served as a protector of the village, but now stands to burn it to ashes. Attacking with his hammer and fiery nail, it’s capable of causing the entire arena to erupt into flames. This battle has two arenas you can fight on, so when one is in danger of being set on fire, climb or drop to the other to give yourself some breathing room.

Aratra

In a surprising change of pace, this battle is considerably easier than the ones that preceded it. Aratra has pretty big tells and prolonged periods between its attacks where you can wail on its various body parts until they break. Focus on breaking the abdomen first as this is where Aratra generates its venom attacks, then go for the claws.

Rangkus is a hammer/crossbow wielding rogue who happens to be the sixth of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Rangkus

Initially, Rangkus seems manageable, but he has a habit of using a grappling hook to avoid danger and fire off crossbow bolts. He’s content with fighting you from a distance, so your best bet is to stick as close to him as possible. He will eventually use fire to augment his attacks, so stock up on fire-curing vials before taking this boss on.

Elamein is a woman wielding a shortsword and a huge shield. She is the eighth of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Maluca

Another two-phase boss. The first part is relatively easy once you learn his dual-blade attack patterns. However, as soon as the second phase begins, he’ll switch to a curved katana. You should focus on defending to reduce the effect of the Chaos ailment. If full, any subsequent Chaos-imbued attack decreases your maximum health, so make sure to use Chaos-curing vials before healing.

Shactuka is an undead monster made of various animal body parts and is the ninth of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Elamein

This warrior is equipped with a large shield that absorbs your attacks, enabling her to return fire with paralyzing beams of electricity. She has a mix of strikes and projectiles, as well as a shield charge that can leave you open to a Burst Attack. The key to surviving this battle is to look for openings rather than go on a frontal assault.

Shactuka is an undead monster made of various animal body parts and is the ninth of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Shactuka

This gargantuan amalgamation of a tiger-like beast and various body parts will spit on its hand to augment it with the plague status ailment, so be wary of whether you should be dodging or blocking. It has a habit of charging with careless abandon, leaving the wooden frame that holds it together open to attacks.

Trokka is a water-wielding mage and is the tenth of The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Trokka

A mage who uses color-coded aquatic magic to attack her foes. She wields a staff that can turn into an umbrella to unleash devastating Burst Attacks. She can also summon jellyfish to hinder your approach. Just remember, blue ones are safe to touch, but red ones will poison you. Bring plenty of frost-healing items to improve your rate of survival.

Bellerian

A master of necromancy and conjuring spirits, this dark elf mage casts fire, earth, and lightning-based spells to slow you down. On top of this, she can use Skull Energy to call upon undead enemies to assist in keeping her distance from you and your blade. Closing the distance and interrupting her spells with your attacks is vital to surviving this battle.

Skalpel

This former friend-turned-foe is now a bloodthirsty berserker who gains power every time he cuts his opponents. If he builds up his berserk state, he becomes a nigh-on unstoppable force, so don’t let him charge up fully. He can also use coffins to drain your stamina, leaving you vulnerable to his strikes.

Princess Ilyna is an elegant woman corrupted by chaotic powers and is the 13th The First Berserker Khazan bosses

Princess Ilyna

While the princess of the Empire was quick to catch onto the evil schemes at work, she wasn’t able to prevent herself from becoming corrupted. Using a combination of rapier strikes and music-based projectiles, she is an immensely dangerous foe to fight.

Hismar

The once-defeated dragon that threatened the world has returned, looking for revenge against the one who beat it beforehand: you. The Berserk Dragon is now infused with the power of Chaos, along with its powerful horn and other draconic attacks. Once Hismar glows purple, be extremely cautious as its Chaos-based attacks are potent enough to start depleting your maximum health.

Reese

A former priestess of the church of Pell Los, she has now become corrupted by the power of Chaos. As a result, she now uses a combination of light and dark magic as she flies around the battlefield.

Ozma

A former ally, now revealed to be the one behind the madness. This final boss uses the powers of chaos, fire, and frost magic to wreak havoc with your overall health and stamina, making it easier for him to finish you off. His Chaos Spears and magic will quickly strike down anyone unprepared to respond to them accordingly.

Bearius is a giant bear with bloody arms and is one of the many The First Berserker Khazan side mission bosses

The First Berserker Khazan optional bosses

Side missions also conclude with formidable foes who are mostly remixed variants of previously encountered boss fights. There are a few exceptions to this trend, but those that aren’t boss variants are larger versions of regular enemies you’ve already faced, so you shouldn’t worry about learning new strategies.

Here are all the optional bosses and the missions they appear in:

  • Keshta The Unyielding – Stormpass’ Phantom of Combat
  • Specter of Bhangau – Night of Tragedy
  • Bearius – Blacksmith’s Heirloom
  • Specter Mage and Specter Knight – Kaleido
  • Xaldin – Human Xilence
  • Mutated Xilence – Final Conquest
  • Bringkus – Pavel’s Final Words
  • Yerid the Completed – Why Have You Forsaken Us?
  • Yeturak – Escaping Linon Mine
  • Pytor, Mage Knight, and Sergei – Last Command

Those are The First Berserker Khazan bosses we’ve fought against so far. Once you’ve finished beating all of them, you may get the taste for beating more difficult bosses. If so, we have a list of the best soulslike games for you to try your skills against a new range of arduous adversaries.
