Whether you have one of the Anime Vanguards Farm Units or not, they’re a crucial part of any team! Ideally, you should have at least one on your team at all times.

Who’s on your Anime Vanguards team? To get some farm units for yourself, you need to summon on the banner, and for that you need gems. Take a look at our Anime Vanguards AFK guide to learn how to earn free gems without playing!

Anime Vanguards Farm Units

As each new farm unit releases, they’re added to our guide too!

What Are Farm Units?

Farm units are purely used to farm Yen, which you then spend to upgrade your team. They do not attack, or deal any sort of debuff to the opposition, and instead, they simply generate cash. The more you upgrade a farm unit, the more Yen they provide.

I usually focus on upgrading them first, as you’ll get the Yen back quickly anyway! I plonk at least one farm unit down, then a DPS to attack the enemies, followed by some upgrades. You can decide if a second farm unit is needed, but note that some may only have a placement limit of 1.

Farming Units

These units farm Yen!

Sprintwagon – Speedwagon from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure

The Sprintwagon farm unit is of Epic rarity, making him the easiest one to get! You obtain him via the summoning banner, so you don’t have to do any odd methods to get this one.

  • Upon deployment, he generates 250 Yen per wave. At his maximum upgrade (upgrade 4), he accumulates 2.55K Yen per wave!
  • You can place 3 Sprintwagons on the field
  • Ability:
    • Capitalist
      • The Yen Sprintwagon earns is equal to the Yen figure that appears on the screen when you click on him mid-battle

Takaroda – Takarada from Kill la Kill

Takaroda is a Legendary farm unit, available through the summoning banner.

  • When deploying Takaroda, he generates 250 Yen before upgrades. Unlike Sprintwagon, you can upgrade this unit a total of 6 times, maxing out at an output of 10K Yen per wave
  • Keep in mind that you cannot sell Takaroda once you place him down on the battlefield and he has a placement limit 1!
  • He has a Shiny variant which changes his hair and outfit to a red colour scheme
  • Ability:
    • Lots of Treasure Money Man
      • All Takaroda Bucks are converted into Yen for the remainder of the stage
