AirVūz, a leading platform for aerial videography and photography uploads, recently announced the winner of its annual Drone Video of the Year competition. They gave their community a week to vote for their favorite video from a pool of nominees. The winner was announced by Paul ‘Nurk FPV’ Nurkkala. The winner is Preston Chen, better known as ‘rememorales,’ for his cinematic and Matrix-style FPV reel.
To qualify, all videos had to be filmed in 2021. If some of these artists look familiar, it’s because DPReview has featured ‘Right Up Our Alley’ by Jay Byrd Christensen in the past and Johnny FPV recently. YouTube videos are embedded in this article but we encourage you to check out each user’s profile on AirVūz as well.

Overall Winner: ‘The Juice – Cinematic FPV Reel’ by Preston Chen
Artist Description: Back in February, I was given an opportunity to go shoot and edit RemeFPV FPV Reel, he had some crazy ideas for this project and we made it come to life. We made this Cinematic FPV Reel stand out from all the normal ones, with visual effects added, a matrix style, a storyline, sound immersive video, and many more.
We also wanted to help the viewers after feeling inspired by this video to enter the FPV world themselves, so we teamed up with Drone Racing Parts and we are giving away a brand new FPV drone to one lucky winner (rules will be below). Over 200+ sound effects added and over 150+ hours spent on this video, this is what we created, hope you enjoy it.
