It looks as though an Xbox console version of Age of Empires IV could be arriving at some point in the future, judging by a recent comment from World’s Edge creative director Adam Isgreen.Age of Empires IV only recently launched into Xbox Game Pass for PC, but it seems the devs are already thinking of turning their attention to a console version. In an interview with Multiplayer.it (thanks, Windows Central) Isgreen said, “As soon as we finish managing the game’s PC release, we’ll start thinking about how to make the game run on consoles. We don’t have any final plans yet, but now we’re really going to start thinking about it.” From that comment, it seems that a console version could still be some way off, but it’s still good to hear that the devs are interested in the possibility.Age of Empires IV launched just days ago and was met with general praise — if you haven’t started it yet or aren’t sure whether it’s for you, check out what we thought in our First Impressions of Age of Empires IV.
