AFK Journey has announced its first crossover which is coming soon! The game is about to get a lot more magical, that’s for sure. AFK Journey’s first crossover event will be with Fairy Tail, the Japanese manga series by Hiro Mashima.
Who Are the Guests in AFK Journey’s First Crossover with Fairy Tail?
The crossover is bringing two of Fairy Tail’s most iconic characters. They are Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. Natsu and Lucy are coming in as part of the new Dimensional faction.
Natsu has been already confirmed as an S-level character, which makes sense given his ‘burn everything to the ground’ attitude. On the other hand, Lucy is coming in at A-level. Obviously, Natsu might be the tougher one to get your hands on while Lucy should be more accessible.
Not sure yet what their specific roles or classes will be, but the crossover and these special characters will definitely make the game more exciting. It’ll be interesting to see how they fit in with the existing factions and whether they’re going to dominate the meta.
When Is the Crossover Launching?
The AFK Journey x Fairy Tail collab is landing on Android on May 1st, 2025. The devs haven’t told yet how long the crossover event will run for. But they have dropped a trailer for the event which is quite exciting to see. Why don’t you take a look at it right here?
AFK Journey, unlike its predecessor AFK Arena, is a 3D open-world RPG. So, having Fairy Tail characters rendered in 3D instead of just flat anime-style images is definitely something players will love.
