Acecore Technologies, a leading European drone manufacturer, and Drone Rescue Systems, a world leader in drone parachute solutions, announce a partnership to bring a safer and more compliant platform to end-users. With this collaboration, all Acecore platforms can be equipped with compliant parachute safety measurements, with all associated benefits.
The technical alliance means that Acecore drones now meet the requirements of MoC Light-UAS.2512 (M2) and MoC Light-UAS.2511. These compliances are needed for conducting complex drone operations using the SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) or PDRA (Pre-Defined Risk Assessment) procedures. The Acecore Noa in combination with the DRS-NOA parachute not only make your drone missions safer but also fully compliant to local authorities.
“We often speak to customers who are concerned about flight permits or safety issues. As DRS we are thrilled to see Acecore drones flying through the skies equipped with our EASA-certified parachute systems. These drones, known for their strong craftsmanship, paired with the certified DRS parachute systems, ensure that you can rest assured about the safety of your aircraft, while you focus on your flight operations.’’
– Andreas Ploier, CEO, Drone Rescue Systems –
“Coming from solely manually triggered parachute safety systems, we are happy to offer our customers next level operational safety with DRS’s autonomous parachutes. The system is non-pyrotechnical as well meaning it is easier to transport and handle. It is a shame you will never see all of this nice technology at play – hopefully.”
– Jorrit Linders, CEO, Acecore Technologies –

Benefits for SORA and PDRA
MOC 2511 Benefits:
Enhanced containment: Ensures that a drone out of control will not breach into adjacent areas with an undefined trajectory.
Compliance with EASA regulations: Proves that the drone operator has safety measures in place, meeting the requirements of “MOC (Means of Compliance) Light UAS.2511 – enhanced containment.”Obtaining Pre Defined Risk Assessment (PDRA) or Specific Operational Risk Assessment (SORA) Step 9: Risk of losing control over the aircraft and fly aways into adjacent areas including determination of level of containment (standard or enhanced)MOC 2512 Benefits:
Reduced ground risk: Reduces the final ground risk (GRC score) by -1, mitigating the effects of ground impact in case of loss of control.
Compliance with regulations: Ensures compliance with MOC 2512 (M2) standards.Risk reduction: Provides mitigation means that work reliably in the event of a loss of control and do not increase overall risk.
