Over at training camp for the Green Bay Packers, quarterback Aaron Rodgers said that center Josh Myers has really been impressing him.
With Aaron Rodgers back in business for the Green Bay Packers, things are once again going smoothly for the NFC North powerhouse. Rodgers is throwing the ball all over the field and the offensive line is doing everything possible to make sure he has plenty of time to do so.
Well, one player in particular who you may not be familiar with is Josh Myers. The rookie center has been getting more and more reps and he’s surely taking advantage of it. So much in fact, Rodgers came out and said Myers has really impressed him.
Josh Myers is really standing out at Green Bay Packers camp
A former star at Ohio State, Myers was taken in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Packers. Now, Myers is wasting zero time in turning heads and making the front office happy about their decision to take him at No. 62 overall.
Imagine how much his confidence must be raised after seeing this? Not only is Myers living up to his early hype, but one of the best quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen is singing his praises for everyone to see.
With Myers looking so strong, he’s already expected to be the starting center for 2021. He’ll have a ton of pressure on him to deliver quality snaps to Rogers, but so far, things are going beyond great for the first-year hoss.
Come this season, Rodgers will of course put up his usual video game-type numbers. As for Myers, he’ll have countless Packers fans ready to see him be a stud presence up front.
