Endzone – A World Apart: Survivor Edition will be launching for Xbox Series X|S on May 19th, and will task players with rebuilding civilisation in a post-apocalyptic world through simulation and strategy gameplay.After launching a year ago on Steam and amassing a ‘Mostly Positive’ user rating from almost 5,000 reviews, Endzone – A World Apart is heading to consoles as the Survivor Edition — which includes the main game and the Prosperity expansion. “While it’s been a long-time desire for us to bring Endzone to console platforms, the UI overhaul required to adapt such a deeply immense strategy game is nothing short of a challenge,” said Stephan Wirth, Gentlymad Studios’ co-founder and experience lead. “We’re so excited to share this lovingly created game with new audiences come May, and we sincerely hope players enjoy the experience we’ve crafted for consoles.” After the world has been ravaged by a nuclear holocaust, survivors begin emerging from the emergency bunkers known as Endzones 150 years later, and they look to you to help lead the last remaining settlement on earth. Expect city building by way of simulation and strategy, with human raiders, radiation, and violent weather events offering you a challenge along the way. Radiation is a large factor you need to take into account when growing your settlement, which Endzone employs with realistic radiation and humidity values, so you’ll need to check your soil before growing crops, and ensure your population has iodine pills.Endzone – A World Apart: Survivor Edition launches on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 on May 19th.
