A Dusty Trip Winter Spotlight Guide – How To Get The Dusty Trip Elite Token And Regular Token

Lots of games on Roblox have made special festive objectives for the Roblox Winter Spotlight, and A Dusty Trip went full throttle on its content. This game’s quest for the tokens is pretty huge, and it’s easy to be lost about what to do. Fortunately, our A Dusty Trip Winter Spotlight guide runs over how to complete all the objectives.

A Dusty Trip is free to play over on Roblox. We’ve also got a Roblox Winter Spotlight guide to help you get into the spirit of the event.

A Dusty Trip Winter Spotlight Guide

As with many other games taking part in the spotlight, there are two Tokens up for grabs, a Regular Token and an Elite Token. They’re pretty different quests, so let’s go over both.

How To Get The Regular Token

To get the Regular Token you need to enter the Winter Event area. There’s trouble out here, and you’ll have three bosses to deal with, each about 1000km apart. In between you just need to travel along the road. You can pick up food, and a weapon is a good idea, though most boss fights give you a weapon anyway. Having one in your hand just saved you having to grab it. The bosses are as follows.

Nutcracker – 1000km

Found in the Toy Factory, the Nutcracker will attack you with machinery. He attacks in three stages where he’s invincible.

  • Sending presents along the conveyor to knock you into the pit behind him.
  • Bringing down a crusher with a short warning display that appears on the floor beforehand.
  • Sending spinning tops into the arena that fall apart after a short time.

After these, a power cell will fall from the bottom of the Nutcracker’s control panel, suspended on a wire, fire at this with a gun to bring down his HP. This will run for about 3 waves, then the Nutcracker is done.

Mr Frost – 2000km

In the Snowball arena you’ll meet Mr Frost, who is not playing it cool. He attacks in several waves, with a period where he’s open to damage, like Nutcracker. His attacks are:

  • Throwing snowballs at the players.
  • Rolling large snowballs around the arena. These usually can’t get to the edges.
  • Summoning Snowmen minions. These die when shot.
  • Raining snowballs from the sky.

After these are all done, Mr Frost will accidentally freeze himself, so you can deal damage. Have at it. Do this three times and Mr Frost is powdered snow.

Krampus – 3000km

The final boss is Krampus, a bit green monster with a jetpack. He’s a lot like the previous bosses. He’ll run through a series of attacks, then stun himself to give you a window to deal damage. He does the following attacks:

  • Throws presents, a bit like Mr Frost’s Snowballs.
  • Summons down rotating damage zones that sweep the arena.
  • Summons his minions to come after you. They can be shot.
  • Stomps the ground, sending green waves of energy out. Jump over these to avoid damage.
  • Throws presents again.

After this Krampus should stun himself so you can shoot his health bar down. Repeat this three times and that’s it for Krampus. The Regular Token is all yours!

How To Get The Elite Token

Getting the Elite Token is a bit more complicated, and very easy to miss. Fortunately we’ve done it all to help you out.

To get the Elite Token you need to put together a special car, but the parts aren’t so easy to come by.

Before attempting to get any of them, to you must have taken out all the bosses for the Regular Token. This means you need to do both Token quests in one run or you’ll have to start from scratch. No pressure or anything.

Once they’re done, head out to around 3500km, and walk left off the road into the woods. (That’s assuming you’re travelling forwards.)

In the woods you should find a garage with the framework of a car. You need to find the other cart parts. There’s a map on the wall, but it’s a little cryptic. So, let’s go over each thing you need to do here to make it a bit easier.

The Part Locations

Here is where to find each part of the car.

Trunk
The lever in the Nutcracker factory.

Found in the Nutcracker Arena around 1000km. There’s a grey level hidden behind a pillar at the boss end of the arena, next to the door that dispenses presents during the fight, pull that and the factory should dispense a trunk door.

Hood
Location of the table in Christmas City.

Found in the city around 3000km. In the first square of the city, where the NPCs sit around, you should find a small alley with a table on. You need to place a glass of milk item, and one of the cookie items with the Christmas tree design on, on the table.
You can find these in houses and often in the starting area… make sure no-one eats them. Once they’re placed they should disappear, and then the hood should drop in.

Side Door One

Along the side of the road at various places you should see shuttered-off houses with ladders leaning against them. Climb onto the roof and jump down the chimney. The house should immediately spring to life with food and decorations. (Help yourself to food if you need it, or keep an eye out for milk and a cookie if you still need those.)

On the fifth house you do this to, instead of food, you should get a door instead. Nice.

Side Door 2

In the garage at around 3500km you should find a present that asks you to deliver it to a Toy Store. Well, go do that!
Toy Stores can appear along the side of the road. Hand the present to the NPC at the counter, and he’ll give you the other door in exchange.

Engine

Travel out to around 6000km. You should find a hot chocolate shop by the side of the road. Inside here it lots of edible mugs of chocolate, but more importantly on a stack of gifts you’ll find the engine.

Assembling The Car

Once you get a part, you can stick them to the roof of your van by holding them over it and hitting Z or the equivalent bind.
Once you have all the parts, bring them to the garage. We don’t recommend driving up to the garage, so you may need to move all parts in by hand.

Then, all you need to to is assemble all the parts of the car, including the included wheels then… congratulations! You just got an Elite Token, and a pretty stylish new set of wheels.
