UFC newcomer Elise Reed suffered a gruesome eye injury in her TKO loss to Sijara Eubanks at UFC Vegas 32 in Las Vegas.
For undefeated newcomer Elise Reed, a victory against a student of the sport was gonna be hard to come by. At UFC Vegas 32, she took on long-time veteran, Sijara Eubanks, during the second fight on the undercard.
A slow start for both women led to Eubanks securing the mount position before strikes from the top halted the fight near the end of the opening round. With the loss, Reed tasted the first defeat of her young career, dropping to 4-1 overall in her UFC debut.

Even worse, Reed suffered an eye injury that had social media buzzing upon the completion of the fight. It’s not a pretty sight by any means. But that’s the life of a fighter, right?
The victory improved Eubanks to 7-6 overall, as it was her first bout in 2021.
