Elemental Master is a game about using the power of the elements to destroy your enemies. Not, like oxygen and uranium, but fire, lightning and wind, to name just three. It’s a simple FPS, and there are a few things you’re going to need to know if you want to make the most out of the experience.
And that’s why we’ve written this guide. We’ve played a good chunk of the game and now we’re sharing all of the hints, tips and tricks we’ve picked up during that time with you. Follow these strategies and you’ll be an Elemental Master master in no time flat.
Whether you’ve already slaughtered hundreds with fireballs or you’ve yet to electrocute a single foe, you’re going to find something here that’ll take your skills up a notch. Let’s get on with it, then – here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Elemental Master.
Learn what the different powers do
Each power has two different modes – tap and press – and it’s important to get to grips with both of them. The wind power, for example, fires out a ball of wind if you tap, but if you press you’ll suck up enemies and then toss them away when you lift your finger. Figure out all the strengths and weaknesses of your powers and you’ll be in a good position to succeed.
Upgrade your strength and coins first
You should focus on upgrading your strength and coins first. The more coins you’re earning, the quicker you’ll be able to power up, and the stronger you are the less likely you are to take damage. It’s very rare that anything will actually get close enough to hit you, so don’t worry too much about increasing your health until you’re deeper into the game.
Watch out for shields
Sometimes you’re going to come across enemies with shields. These will protect them from certain elemental powers. When you see one, make sure you shift to a power that’s actually going to hurt them, otherwise you’re going to be in trouble. You should be mixing up your powers anyway, but it’s even more important when shields are in play.
Use the scenery
Look for ways that you can use the scenery. Explosive barrels are a great way to knock out multiple enemies, for example. Use the edge of the levels to your advantage when you’re using your wind powers and throw enemies to their deaths. You should always be on the lookout for ways you can use the level to your advantage.
Is it worth watching the videos?
In short – not really. You’ll earn coins more slowly if you don’t, but the game never gets difficult enough that that’s going to be a problem. The same goes for unlocking new powers more quickly. If you want to watch the videos to speed things up, then go for it, but it certainly isn’t required.
