Devolver Digital has announced its 30-minute Summer Game Fest showcase, which amusingly promises “more than we could possibly deliver,” and a pre-show theme.If you’ve been looking forward to Devolver Digital’s appearance during Summer Game Fest this week, then June 9th at 3pm PT/6pm ET/11pm BST/12am CET is where you’ll want to tune in. The showcase joins a myriad of other directs and events airing this week, which we’ve listed in a one-stop guide for you.Devolver Direct 2022 teaser trailerIn true Devolver fashion, the showcase will be a parody of a pre-show — “Devolver Scienticians have learned that the countdown before a showcase is when the audience’s hopes are at their highest, before the inevitable disappointment sets in.” Humorously called the Devolver Marketing Countdown to Marketing, Devolver Direct will run for around 30 minutes, and according to the press release, the “official pre-show promises more than we can possibly deliver.” In reality, you can expect to see four new games announced when Devolver Direct airs on Thursday, June 9th, so it’s going to be an exciting one to watch if you’re a fan of the publisher. Of course, it’ll all be wrapped in a lovely live-action package like its previous shows, and the trailer above gives us plenty of reason to tune in.We’d love to see additional content announced for both Weird West and Shadow Warrior 3 during the show, and we’d bet our bottom dollar that the awesome-looking Cult of the Lamb will make an appearance.
