After Street Fighter 5 was a PS4 console exclusive, there was some concern that Capcom’s next fighter might also end up only on Sony consoles. Rejoice, then, for Street Fighter 6 is coming to Xbox… albeit only Series X|S.Interestingly, SF6 is still coming to PS4, so it’s only on Xbox that last-gen is left to be gutter trash, but a Series X|S announcement is welcome all the same, and we look forward to getting back in the fight. Also, parrying is back. The hype is real.Street Fighter 6 coming to XboxCapcom dropped a new trailer for Street Fighter 6 at Sony’s State of Play event earlier in the week, and while the splash screen there only mentioned PlayStation consoles, the full version of the trailer confirms that after missing a generation, Xbox players will be able to jump back into Street Fighter when this new game launches in 2023.Open-world weirdness, new characters, and some familiar faces all pop up in the trailer, with the new Drive system seemingly combining a bunch of series staples (supers, EX specials, parries, and more) into one meter… we’re so ready to get back in the lab.
