Car Lot Management is a game that sees you sending customers to parking spaces. You’ll be earning cash while you do, as well as dealing with different requests from your customers to make sure they’re happy. You’ll get VIPs into your lot as well, and spend the money you make on upgrading your spaces.
There’s quite a lot going on here and while it might be mechanically simple, you’re definitely going to have to get your head around some stuff if you want to succeed. And that’s why we’ve written this guide. With these strategies you’re going to be parking lot royalty in no time flat.
It doesn’t matter if you’re just about to park your first car or you’ve already moved on to a bigger and more lucrative spot – there’s going to be something here that’ll take your skills to the next level. So here we go – these are the best hints, tips and cheats for Car Lot Management.
Do what you’re told
Some of the cars that come into your lot are going to have specific needs. They might need to use disabled spaces, they might just have a preference for where you put their car. You need to acquiesce to these desires and put them in the right place. If it’s not possible, then you’re going to lose a customer, so keep on your toes and try and do what’s asked of you.
Watch for flashes
When a car in the waiting area flashes its lights, that means it’s running out of patience. A timer will appear above the car and once it’s filled up the car is going to drive away. When a car flashes, check to see if you can place it to ensure you’re not losing any business. If you can’t, compare the counters of the car in the way and the car waiting to park to see if there’s a chance you can make it.
What do you need?
When you’re upgrading your lot, look at what you actually need. If your spaces are always full, adding another slot in the waiting area is going to just leave you with more disgruntled drivers. Instead, add a new parking space so you can serve your customers quicker. And if the reverse is true – you’ve always got empty spaces – add a waiting slot to increase your cash flow.
Park the VIPs
VIPs give you a decent bundle of cash when they roll in, which is super useful. And especially so at the start of the levels when you’re trying to get upgrades quickly. If you’ve got the time and the space, watch the VIP video and get them parked to ensure you’ve always got a decent chunk of money to spend on upgrades.
Keep your lot balanced
Try and keep the rows of your lot balanced, with roughly equal spaces on each side. It all depends on the layout of the lot you’re playing, but avoid making single long lines of spaces. It’ll cost more and give you fewer options when a customer wants to park on a specific row or on a specific side of the available parking spaces.
